Max Health Club acquires gym on Westvlietweg

On Thursday, Sept. 1, the men behind Max Health Club, Jacco Helmink and Niels Renes, finally put their scrawl on the official papers. From this date, the club expanded and the family sports school at 55 Westvlietweg became the new, second branch. For the surrounding The Hague/Voorburg area, this location is no stranger to them and was operated here for many years under the name Westvliet. The location is gradually becoming a second Max Health Club. The first branch on Klatteweg is known for its uniqueness. From varied group and fitness workouts to luxurious relaxation options. From personal attention to a paramount family atmosphere where even the youngest are involved in the swimming school. The judo school with 400 children that the second branch already owns is a good fit for this.

The idea is that Max Health Club on the Vliet will be a copy of the concept of the gym on Klatteweg. “Only it will be even bigger and we will refurbish the current squash courts. The tennis courts are going out, because too little use was made of them. But there will be a big swimming pool in its place where you can swim laps,” Helmink explains. On the second fortress, there will also be wellness with Finnish sauna, steam bath and infrared lamps, a twenty-five-meter pool, catering facilities and free childcare. The men hope to have all work completed after the summer of 2023, but until then everyone is already welcome to come and play sports.
